Yep, priorities sure change once you have a kid. It's not all about you anymore.

that m5 is sick! great color, and i agree- it is a visceral beast with one touch of the M! 9 MPG is not a big shocker, but it is fun to drive. the lexus' more quiet cabin is appropriate for your family. nothing like seeing a sleeping kid in the backseat. hope you enjoy your GS!

If I had know about this forum things would've be a lot different but after all, I'm happy with my decision. Although it's just a "lowly 300", it suits my needs perfectly and allows me to save significantly until either the GS-F or the 911 TT within the next year or two.

LOL!! The prices on the pre-owned ///Ms are tanking at a ridiculous rate, nowadays a clean, fully loaded '07 like mine can be had for about mid to high 40's.....it's definitely a buyer's market right now!

well said...if you were to ask me a year ago if I could sell the car and be at peace with it, I'd say continue to smoke that crack, but now the "highs" that I get seeing how happy my wife and son get when riding in my car is better than any crack...lol.

When your kids are in college & independent, you can get crazy again. That's what my Dad did, picked up used SL55AMG, Cayenne Turbo & a Modena.

Thanks for the kind welcome...I wasn't sure about the quality of people on the CL forum when I joined since I came from the ///M forum filled with some abrasive characters, but so far I'm thoroughly impressed with the amount of class and camaraderie here!
