I have a staggered set up on my GS and I have never had a situation of under steer. Unless you do hardcore track driving you will never notice increased under steer from wider rear tires. I like to push my car on on-ramps and I frequently set the rear shocks to a significantly stiffer setting than the front to make sure I never have any understeer . But we are both kidding ourselves to think that the 3GS could actually handle being pushed hard enough to understeer. The suspension is floaty even with coilovers set to the max and the steering feel is non existent

they are extremely excellent, the ride is almost the same as oem maybe a tad stiffer, but it handles much better. it is 1" front and .8" back. I am very happy with them.

It was hitting curves, weaving traffic, accelerting more quickly and stopping faster. I assume the difference in circumsference and rotational mass was the reason. Diameter is the same but circumsference can't be with different size tires.
The biggest problem is that look. That look is just too darn cool with staggered. Since we aren't tracking the cars, the performance difference just isn't enough to compensate for that look. That's it and only it. No need to talk about performance. The slight difference isn't enough to forego the LOOK!
i do agree ...
