Default Saying hello after a very long absence

Picked up my new 2010 GS350 a few weeks ago and realized years ago when I had my first one, I registered here. Enjoying my third Lexus and although I can't do many of the mods (Nav etc) in this years model, enjoyed reading and catching up on what's going on with this series.

Thus far I've determined that the voice input to the nav system works pretty well better than expected once I turned off the long instructions. Almost eliminates need for Nav mod. And although I've had XM for years, I am not impressed with the weather and traffic. Probably drop them after 90 days trial.

Little nervous about the nav updates to the HDD in coming years, DVD's have their benefits. Hope pricing is in line with DVD costs since they came down. Or alternatives find their way to the market. And time will tell if Lexus Enform is worth the $ once I have to pay next year.

And it sure does drive great. What a feeling on the road.

Thanks for welcome back everyone. I wonder if my original posts from 2003 are long gone or maybe I never posted it was so long ago. That was from my ES300 days which I just sold but also have a RX400H. Guess I'm sold on Lexus.

The voice system isn't quite perfect yet but it is so much better than my 06 RX400H that it is actually usable. Especially moving at 80+ mph.
