Looks great! How did you end up mounting it? Is it attached to the glass?

It is sort curved up but it's a spoiler...some of them are curved up. Looks fine to me.

the curve is fine

i'm just wondering how you can get it perfectly even without the right machines/tools.

Looks nice.

I think you should have made a roof spoiler that sat on the roof...and not on the glass...ie: the 2GS UGO roofie. 3M seems to stick better to a painted body part vs. glass.

Also, the surface area of your roofie that mounts with 3M tape to the glass seems minimal....which may subject it to easy theft.

Again...mad props to you for doing this.

Default check it out

alright guys, so i took it off to shave down the sides a little, and i added a rubber weather strip. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the final product. i am going to have to remove it one last time though because i didnt paint the bottom side.

i thought about it but it looks a lot better on the glass for our cars. it just flows a lot better. looks a MUCH better on the glass than it does on the roof imho. on the roof it looks like its popping up out of no where because it doesnt have that downward tapper the glass has. its like smooth roof then all the sudden, bam! thing pops up outa no where. and all the ones ive seen were mounted on the glass anyway.. oh and the contact point on the spoiler is wider than the tape. and its the wide tape, not the skinny one.. you know the 1 inch wide one. also i think it sticks the same if not stronger to the glass than paint. but thats just my opinion. i litterally had to get 2 flat head screw drivers and pry, pull, wiggle and force off. almost busted my glass. its solid. this thing took me on and off around 3 months. trust me, i thought of everything u just said over 10 times. if i wasnt so **** and i would have been a long time ago. lol

this was absolutely the HARRDEST part! almost impossible id say. a sanding block, and tons of sand paper my fren. and mostly fiber glass. (waaay harder to sand than bondo). people started to ask me if i was working out! and they would laugh like crazy when id tell them "naw, i just been sanding a grip."
