Only one headlight stays on
My headlights are always set to 'Auto'. After I turn my car off at night, I noticed that only the driver side headlight stays on...is this normal? I looked through the manual and could not find any 'settings' for this, help?

sounds like a burnt bulb. if you use auto, the headlights stay on for 30 seconds after the car is shut off before turning off.

Also, the weird thing is that when I go back to turn the car on..BOTH headlights turn on

I see, we misunderstood your message.
He's talking about the delayed-off headlight feature. I know that you can set a specified amount of time (default 30 seconds?) that headlights stay on after you get out and lock the car... but I am unaware if you can set it to keep only one light on. The delay time can only be set by lexus, perhaps the "one on" is indeed a hidden lexus preference. You should ask your dealership.

Different issue than the OP. Switch bulbs left to right and see if the problem moves with it (as has been regurgitated about 100 times only in the last couple of months on this board).

If you bought new bulbs...... then you bought the wrong ones. Some cheap "ebay brands" usa a d2s bulb housing for there d4s bulbs ...make sure you use a brand name bulb like garax. I had the same problem when i bought some cheap bulbs

Bring it to Lexus and tell them that you want your car to do it and how long. Personally, I wish mine didn't do it but I'm not willing to pay them to change the setting now. I always feel like I need to stick around to see them switch off.

My headlights turn off the moment I open the driver door to leave. If I want it to stay on I can turn the headlight off and back on.
But usually I manually turn off my headlight so when I start the headlight won't flickers during starting.

Your headlight shouldn't flicker when starting. Mine don't, they ignite instantly, "look up" (leveling), and stay on solid when starting the car every time. I forget, do you use non-philips bulbs?
