These will tell you when to flick the switch with enough advance warning.
or if you have an iphone you just download trapster

On a recent trip to Arizona, I got 2 speed camera speeding tickets going to dinner and then back to my hotel. The entire state is crawling with speed cameras and they trigger at 12mph above the speed limit.

Tools like the traffic camera detectors I mention save you time and money in states like Arizona. Especially if you are travelling through areas you aren't familiar with and don't know where the cameras are.

Of course, Jack, you might ask why don't I drive within 10mph of the speed limit. Well, if I wanted to drive at 55mph on an interstate I could have bought a Prius. I bought a V8 Lexus because I like to enjoy my driving experience, and in the hands of a skilled driver there is nothing unsafe about operating a GS460 at 80-90mph on a highway!
I agree, those speed cameras are up everywhere. A pain in the *** to drive normal.

"through areas you aren't familiar" U should slow down. Blind entrance and all that. What i'm afraid is I travel to an area that speed camera just 'POP UP'. Don't go there often enough to know there's a new speed camera.

BOTH.

Tried it. 95% of the time it give faults alarm. With so many faults, I might as well just stick to speed limit.

Trapster has a lot of false alarms. In same places it works well. Where I am trapster is unusable - it goes off every 30 seconds.

The Passport and Cheetah GPS-based systems only alert you to real threats. Watch this video:
