I dont understand why everyone is making all of these assumptions.. Do the people chiming in on this thread even have aftermarket rims?
The light only goes on for me when I hit about 150 miles on a road trip 2 hours i leave my house which is in the vicinity of my stock rims.. I think it depends on the mileage that the sensors are checked periodically..

It's not that I don't care. haha. It's just my mind is blown by all this.
1. How does lexus totally forget that people will get aftermarket wheels. There really should have been a way to turn off TPMS completely.
2. Everyone has a different answer. While you (memaster) seem to be knowledgeable about this, and I appreciate your advice, there still does not seem to be a definitive answer on the subject yet.
3. My light came on again after driving MAYBE 30 miles.
