What year is your vehicle? I only have the part numbers for the 2006.
The left and right sensors are the same. The only difference is the wiring harness on the passenger side is longer, if that helps

The only risk I am taking is if the ECU needs to be updated and its not the O2 sensor fault or I end up buying the old O2 sensor and not the newly redesigned one.

mine is 2006 GS300 AWD. Thank you for the info, I am reading the reviews on the Denso part you have posted on amazon and it got very good reviews. I might buy it instead of the Toyota one as most of the reviewers are saying its the same but branded either Denso or Toyota...

Check the bulletin L-SB-0092-09 for the procedure to find your code to see if yours can be flashed. This will help you decide how to proceed. Replacing the ECU wont be cheap.

The new style wont work properly unless your ECU has been flashed. Some ECUs can't be flashed and have to be completely replaced. Personally, If I have to replace my sensor (the code hasn't come back yet) I will try the old style first.

Sorry to hear that. How many miles do you have? Are you going to have them do it? I imagine if you installed it yourself they wouldn't warrant the ECU. Mine hasn't come back on. Pretty sure I'm going to trade mine in this spring while I can still get something out of it.

I like this car and I won't be selling anytime soon as I don't like the new GS models, they made them shorter/smaller.
