Default '07 GS350 with 7000 miles, have questions

saw this none certified '07 with 7000 plus miles on a local dealer's website. it was a previous lease. they're asking $31k for it. the low mileage definitely is very attractive. but being a 3 year old car w/o certified pre-own warranties, are there anything i should be concern with this particular years' model? thanks.

This car still has warranty. Test drive the car, thoroghly check it as well the collision history. Other than the dash noise (90% cured), my 07 GS350 seems doing well so far.

Make sure car has not sat around long, if it had seals will leak down the road. Cars are made to be driven not to look at. The cars with low miles that say seniors drive to and from the market a few times a week are Ok but if this car sat for say a year without being driven and without being prepared to sit is not something I would invest in.

People love low miles, but sometimes low miles are not the best indication of what condition the car is in. High miles are not an indication either that teh car i sin bad shape just that it has been driven.

For a few extra grand you can purchase an extended warranty from Lexus that covers pretty much everything the certified would cover. The car sounds like a good deal and the mileage is super low. The only thing I would worry about is if the ODO was shut off for a while and the car really has much more mileage then that.

The Warranty would be 4 year 50K.

It's not always good, when they do not use a car. My brother moved abroad and his Audi A8 is left at home. He always call me to take the car for a drive, because it had a few month not being driven at all and it had more problems after not being used for a few months, than when using it every day.....

Don't let the car get away.

Someone mentioned concerns about seals. It's a 3 year old California car and you have another year on the Lexus warranty. Even w/o the warranty, I wouldn't be concerned about seals. If it is at a good price, for your peace of mind spend a couple hundred dollars (at a Lexus dealer) for the thorough inspection.

I turned in my 07 GS350 with only 13,500 miles after a 3 year lease last month. The car was almost like new, except for the lousy Yokohama advent tires.

I am now on a new 3 yr. lease 2010 ES350 and we all love this car!
