19 or 20?
I've been looking at new wheels. I was debating on going to a 19" for the ride and performance or the 20" to fill the wheel well. It seems as if most people are running 20's.
What do you guys think?
Thanks.

I would go with 19".. a little more durable but 20" look super clean. Having 20" increases your chances of cracking and bending especially if you live in so cal, cuz the streets and freeway are full of pot holes and are unevenly paved. Do what you think is best..good luck

I'm looking for new wheels as well & was thinking of 19" however, my dealer said that would harm the car from inside!
In case I went with the 19" what else will need to be replaced in the car? Sorry to my silly question(s) as i'm very new in this field.

I bought 19's, imo 20's look the best on our car, but I personally wouldn't trade the ride comfort for 19's for 20's. I had 20's with some 30 series tires all around in so cali. After about 1 month, I dropped back to 19's. Feeling every bump and uneven road was horrrible.

I would go 19s and run 40 rubber if you could get away without rubbing.
I find it interesting everyone focuses on the wheel size and not the tire size. I think 45s are ideal tires for a sports sedan which is what the Porsche Panamera and the G37 ride on. I am certainly switching to 45s on my 18 inch wheels when my current tires are replaced.

I def. need to run the right profile on the rubber however I wanted opinions on size because you can go too short on the amount of rubber as well as too tall. Either way the car is already lowered and I have taken a ton of the ride out of it already so I don't want to kill myself concerning my ride even more. I really appreciate the feed back. I've been leaning towards a 19" that I haven't seen on any other cars so I'm kind of excited.
Thanks again.

The 20's on my Ice350 ride smoother than the 19's on my black 300. It's all in the tire selection. The black 300 has Michelin Pilot AS and the Ice350 has ExtremeContact DWS....the most quiet and smoothest tire I have ever owned. Another tire with quiet and comfy ride is the Bridgestone 960AS, the second most quiet and comfy tire I have ever owned. Get one of these and 20's will ride just as smooth as the 19's.

Ice350 is right that the tire choice makes a difference, but with the same tire, 19s will have a better ride than 20s. I love 20 inch wheels from an aesthetic standpoint, but on my local roads the 18s ride pretty rough.

I say go with 20". My setup is 20" with 245/35 Bridgestone 960AS and they ride the same as the stock 18 but look a helluva alot better. I was concerned about jumping to 20" because I didn't want to sacrifice ride quality but I'm glad I made the jump and selected the tire I did, this will be my tire of choice going forward

I have 19's and couldnt be happier. It looks sharp, and sporty. with a 2 inch drop it looks amazing. I would have gone with 20's but since it is a sport luxury sedan i got 19's
