What do you mean by brand of brakes? are you talking about upgrading to a bbk or just different pads? also the stickers can be found on ebay and they go on the caliper not pads

I am running Akebono ProAct Ceramic pads and they are great. No dust and stopping power is as effective as stock. They were half the price of stock when I got them through TireRack.com. (btw: Akebono makes the pads for Toyota).

Akebono looks like a winner in Dust/Noise competition but according to TireRack the stopping power is quite weak...

Anyone with Akebono ProAct can confirm or confront that?

Longer stopping time is the downside of any ceramic, semi-metallic pads; since these pads are harder compound compared to stock organic pads whick are "stickier"....not unless of course you upgrade to perfomance BBK which has a larger mass thus improving stops.

Loxus when looking at tire rack rating it says it has very low stopping power. I was little bit scared i didn't want to have less stopping power. When i spoke to a friend of mine who got them on the front he said if anything same or better stopping power compared to stock. I have them on front and rear right now and stopping power is same or if not better over stock pads. I highly suggest them NO NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!! NO DUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Life of the pads is increased atleast twice over OEM.
