Seat problems?

My seat has been squeaking but I think its the leather rubbing against the plastic on the side of the seat. I can probably fix it with leather conditioner

Squeaking is fine. My 4Runner had terrible issues with moving and popping and clicking driver's seat, which is part of the reason I'm getting rid of it. The seat was replaced three times and still had the same problems. Since Toyota owns Lexus, I'm just making sure.

I just repaired mine. My buddy at the dealership fixed it for me and this is what he said via text message.
"On the seat in the front mounting bolts, there are dowel pins. I made the holes larger in the body and added felt to the pins. If that doesn't fix it, you will need an entire new seat. >$5000!!"
So far so good with just a slight clicking. I may just bring it in for a new seat anyhow.

Yeah, well, I'm trying to avoid a repeat of that. The dealer gave me an 08 ES350 to drive until my car is ready and it popped a few times today. I don't want to go through that again....

mine used to squeak pretty consistently, but has been silent since they did the TSB to address the pins. Just did a 1,000 mile round trip this week and dead silent on the seat and dash, but I am getting a new rattle in the passengers side door - sounds like the speaker is vibrating something.
