Default 3rd Party Extended Warranties?

I'm looking at an 06 GS430 with 25k miles, and due to the factory bumper to bumper warranty being expired, extending the contract directly through Lexus is not an option. I've searched through the forum, however i havent found any solid information on reputable third party extended warranty's for a GS. Does anyone have any experience with them, or who's good and who i should avoid?

I've been quoted $900 so far for a 4 year/75000 mile, $100 deductible, policy from Zurich, which i believe is a branch of GE.

Thanks!

Matt

idk.. it seems most warranty cover everything except me and my car and everything else that I'd need it to cover. So, no warranty for me.

I thought it was the mileage that was important not the fact that the original warranty is up?

I heard geico liberty mutual and allstate are good after market warranty. But you would have to call them and ask.

We have an 07 GS 350 with ~42k miles on it. Anyone had any major issues or a lot of minor issues that they'd recommended getting an extended warranty that would make it worth buying one? We have a few more months to decided before the original warranty expires.

Yes.. year just in case u leave your car there with little or no use, things still can go bad.

And mileage just in case you use your car like it meant to.

And also the mileage is only cover when most things are still good, but the magic number is 100K. Most if not all warranty will not touch u with the ten foot poll once you hit that magic number.
