youre not the only one.

i think these look a little odd too.

i think it's because the car is more bulbous and curvy than the chiseled IS

I was thinking the same thing but his ride is dropped and could have rubbing. I am dropped and have had issues with rubbing even with a 245/30 ( more like hitting a speed bump while the wheel was turned)

I'm jealous you get to try on the shoes and see how they look on your car, I have to wait for guys like you to post pics so I can truly see what the wheels will look like (lol).

Thanks for sharing!
It is really cool that he can try the different hot new styles

Fronts are rolled, a little accidental pull. I didn't experience any rubbing while driving on them.

Both sets of Vossen, the offsets are the same I think considering they are 1 piece wheels. The offsets don't differ too much.

245/30 on an 8.5" is still considered a chunky tire. 235/30 is on the money, every mm counts!

245/30 is already not rated high enough to carry the weight of the vehicle. 235/30 in a place like AZ is just not safe. An over loaded tire at 145-150 deg road surface temps mixed with negative camber is a recipe for disaster.

Who cares...

If you haven't notice, a lot of people run a 245/30 and 275/30 tire set up which means the rear tires are taller thus pushing off more of the car weight towards the front of the car. Be realistic, your car isn't going to blow up. You have a spare. It's just a car. You have Lexus Roadside Assistance.

People drive on 225/30 and are fine. This is what annoys me with the 3GS section, people afraid to push the envelop. Someone ALWAYS wants to see photos before they pull the trigger and blah blah blah.

I have a baby on the way and I am not going to risk a blow out in the heat with a baby and my wife on board. I am assuming you are unmarried and under 30. To each his own. We all cant be as cool as you

Well then, maybe you should put stocks back on since its the "safe" way. It doesn't matter how old I am or if I'm married. It's not even about being cool, people want to be like robots and get upset when others "copy." Think outside of the box for once!!!

ZZZI think the reduced aggressiveness comes from the design and not the specs, since they should be the same as the wheels on the other side.
Multi-spokes like this always softens the wheel imo.

PS.
Just took another look. The fitment does seen to be less aggressive. I still maintain my previous statement about multi-spoked wheels but the fitment does seem softer.
