quick question.

I got vibrations at speeds from about 50-80mph, usually when i hit the gas and not really noticeable when im off the gas..I also have the usual vibration/wobble from 10-30mph but im not too concerned bc it seems like everyone (gs awd owners) does.

Could this be because the wheel got unbalanced during shipment from MIA to NY (tires were mounted and balanced in MIA before shipment), or is this just an 06+ gs AWD issue?

You need to get them. Its very very simple to install and will make a big difference in the ride quality. MAn I cant imagine what the car would ride like with no hub rings

hub rings will center your wheel better. they will center it on the hub instead of the lugs as they are now. doing so will also help you prevent shearing off studs.

Easy...take one wheel off and look for the hub ring.
Or take it to a shop and have them look.

Some rings do not sit in and stay in, so sometimes they fall out. I've heard of all sorts of things when it comes to shipping, usually things are overlooked and not shipped with the wheels.

Like Ice said, take off the wheels and check. If you feel vibrations in the seat, its the rear wheels; steering wheel then its the fronts. From what you described, it seems to be hub rings.

finally had the time to take a wheel off and there are hub rings...currently i only feel vibrations at high speeds like around 70+...im guessing i just need to rebalance the wheel. Does anyone know if they can damage the wheel with the machine they use to balance wheels?

No. You will be fine, have them do a road force balance.
