Although driving a GS feels like a downgrade from the 7-series, I'm pretty content with my decision to buy it, I got a pretty good deal (thanks to Ben at Mcgrath Lexus of Chicago) and my warranty isn't up for another 5 years 70k miles which gives me peace of mind... Right now my car is pretty much stock, I plan on tinting it and swapping out the 4300k low beams for some 6000ks...also getting color matching fogs and parking lights...ill post pics when I'm done...

Any suggestions on what lights I should buy?...

Yeah, I saw your thread... I saw those 6000k low beams on ebay sold by a seller called mtec, I've dealt with them before when I modded my 745. Where did you get the parking lights though? And can you give me the exact part numbers and specs needed please?....also...I'm looking to match my fogs too, but I don't want to get the whole HID kit...just the bulbs, any suggestions for that too? Thanks

My Garax 8000K just got here yesterday, and of course I ripped open the box and had to put them in as soon as they arrived. LOVE the 8000k and Garax makes a damn good bulb.

But damn, the spaces were tight and it took a bit of maneuvering to get the bulbs in. Passenger side was easy. Driver's side, I had to remove the washer fluid hose and it was still a challenge. I've got sorta big hands and a 20 minute job took me over an hour, but mission accomplished.

my suggestion for the city lights are to get polarg m4 wedge bulbs. i believe its a 194 but not positive. they should match pretty close to 6000k headlights.

if you are looking to color match your fogs to your low beam HID, you will need to get the HID fog kit for the fog lights - just swapping fog bulbs won't do it.

 

Oh ok, I thought I saw a member on here who color matched his fogs by just swapping out the bulbs...I guess I'm mistaken....thanks for your input.

hid fogs actually arent expensive at all. you can get a pnp kit from hidextra for like 60 bucks shipped. i have one as well as other members and they work well.
