Here are some pics of my first "work" on my 450h - 8000K low beams and 2500K hyper yellow fogs. The camera sort of gives a false impression of the 8000K. They aren't blue as they appear in the pics. They are an ice-white that lights up the road in a bright white hue. No blue on the road. The daytime pics are more accurate as far as the color is concerned.

If your car has factory HID, all you need to do is replace the bulb. If not, then you need a kit.
The low beams are Garax 8000K D4S bulbs that I got from David at carlighttrends.com. I ordered them on a Saturday and got them on Wednesday. Seriously, they are not blue like they appear in the pics. I don't get it, but they are a bright white on the road with like an ice-white-bluish tint when you look at them straight on. Took me about 30 mins to replace.
The fogs are actually just bulbs, not a kit. They are Nokya 2500K 9006 bulbs that I got from ebay for $22.00. This was pretty easy to do, took about 15 minutes.
I know some people prefer the 6000K lows with the 6000K fogs. I just happen to really like how this contrast looks. And for those of you who worry about the light output - it's fine. 8000K give off plenty of light.
