I usually let the car warm up for 45-60 seconds and then take off . ( just enough time to get strapped in , settled, and to crack open a starbucks coffee or a big *** red bull

I preheat the oil to about 110F then place the pristine synthetic oil into a foam filter to ensure it is particulate free. I spin it so it reaches a certain viscosity to prevent any chance of undue cylinder friction...then finally I place the oil into the engine.
Takes me a little bit more time in the morning, but it is worth it. I get up at 5AM to ensure enough time to do this. By 6AM I am able to slide into my seat that is covered in plastic to prevent wear on the leather.
By the way, I take my shoes off before getting into the car so I have no need for a protective floor covering that would protect the floor cover that is already protecting the floor....so dont write back to recommend that idea.
