Well unfortunately not all of us are baller enough to be able to throw 35-40K in cash down. I didn't know that in order to buy a Lexus you had to pay cash. I must have missed that memo somewhere

Big Mack ... yup ... a week! It's torture b/c now not only is there a black one that parks a few spaces down but there's a red one that parks across the aisle. The dealership is 45min from me and is completely out the way.

I have the metabolism of a 5yr old. I'm 5'7 125lbs @24yrs.
I think everything is very accessible. By far the most comfortable car I've driven. I've owned cheap econobox cars, Jetta GLI, Maxima and now the GS430.
All the controls are easily accessible from radio to the other gadjets, this is in my 06. I've never been in an 08+GS. If you're an arm rest type of person then you're in luck, I usually rest my palm-face when i'm stuck in traffic. I like to rest my hand on the c pillar too. Just test drive one and you'll get what I'm talking about. No matter how you like to drive, be it both hands on the streeing wheel to one handed, its a slick car to handle. I would say the first 'oh ****' moment I had when I first drove the GS was the electrically assisted streering. It makes turning low/high speed turns effortless. If you're on the hwy and you need to very quickly, precisely turn you can without fail.

Thanks for your reply I appreciate it.
I should probably clarify myself .... I meant more like ... as you're just sitting there in the driver's seat does it have a nice feel as in conforming around you or might i feel like I'm swimming in the seat? I'm 5'7" bout 130lbs so I'm not exactly a "large" person lol

The GS is a superb car and I'm sure you will love it. The only thing that will take you a while to get adjusted to is that it is a big car. I went to the GS from a BMW 330Ci Cabrio and I found that with the size, I had to adjust to different visibility levels. That said with the parking sensors and the rear view camera parking is a breeze.
The other thing is that the GS has a really tight turning circle. I was amazed that the turning radius on my GS460 is tighter than on my old BMW 330Ci. I guarantee it will be substantially tighter than your Accords. Which means despite the size it is actually more maneuvrable in tight spaces than many smaller cars.
In terms of deals, if you can get a new 09 you will do very well. I bought a new 2008 GS460 a year ago, and I got around 25% of MSRP. That's a better price than buying used. Call JM Lexus in Margate,. FL and Lexus of North Miami. They are the 2 largest dealers in the state (JM Lexus is largest dealer in country) and they often have very very good deals.

Cowsgomoo & batman ...
Thank you so much for your replies. Everything that you guys posted was exactly what I was looking for. I can now daydream a little more in detail and be that much more anxious to get out there and test drive one!
Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it.
oh and Batman .. thanks for the heads up on the dealerships. I'm up in Tampa and the closest Lexus dealer is Lexus of Tampa Bay. Their prices seem somewhat reasonable but I will definitely check out your suggestions.
