Default Toyo T1R Tire info.

I had these tires on my Vette and really liked them. Does anyone have them on there GS? If so any complaints? Looking to run a 245/30/20 & 275/30/20. Please input if there may be something better. I am looking for good grip with a fairly quiet ride. Thanks.

i am on my 2nd set of t1r on my gs350 with 20s and i love them. very quiet and great ride, handling is very reasonable in both dry and wet, and wear is very good too. for the price i think it's very good choice

I don't have T1R's but have the Conti DWS and they have fantastic grip and are super quiet. I've heard a lot of good things about T1R's though.

I have them mounted on my 20's with F-Sport Springs.....feels stock, nice smooth ride & handling. You can't go wrong with the T1R's

I have had a couple of sets of T1Rs on my G35 and returned them both times. The tread is squirmy .The V pattern and full tread depth makes the tread feel unstable in really hard cornering. I think my Michelin Pilot Sports AS plus are the best compromise in terms of grip, tread wear, and silent ride. You get what you pay for.

T1R tire for me is the best tire. I had them on my 20's and it really gave me a smooth and quiet ride. In terms of wear, mine lasted for 3.5 yrs and that's my daily commute as long you flip them every 5k-8k miles.

with my pretty low ride height i am still expecting to get over 25k out of the tires

well...not purposely, I have 20x10.5 +20 with 275/30 tire in the rear, the wheel is about an inch and a quarter out the fender, so one day I took my wife and son out just a bit before all the fender work, and I heard grinding sounds from the rear driver side when I drove onto the driveway, and they both were sitting in the back, i got off the car and saw a 10 inches long of rubber came off from the tire side wall.... so I bought two 265/30 T1R just for the rear.
I had to say Pzero Nero is more quiet than T1R, but the T1R wins the grip.

with such an aggressive offset, i'm not surprised you had bad rubbing problems. imho, if you want aggressive offset, you have to do some sort of fender work (either trimming plastic tab or rolling the fenders).

now the rear fender is done with shaved(3mm left) and pulled, but still need about 5mm to 7mm to clear the tire side wall, now it's touching the bottom edge of side wall. And I don't want to go 255/30, that would be too stretched on 10.5 wheel and no protection if I hit some potholes, few ppl suggested to shave 3mm off from back of the wheel hub, but I really don't wanna do that either. i really need a camber kit so bad......

Id say they are just ok. I would suggest the PS2 or wait for the release of the PS3.
