My front wheels are 20 x 8.5 with a 35 offset wrapped with 245/30/20 rubber... as far as fender mods, I've done nothing...I'm lowered on F Sport Springs which have a 1 inch drop all around....so far no rubbing whatsoever. I've already hit a few dips, and hit hard turns and actually hit a mild pothole....with "0" rubbing or "0" bent wheels. I hope I haven't jinxed myself.

seems like the body shop is not that experienced. your offset is fine, like others say, changing tires will help.
but another problem is your driving habit. if you are able to catch the fender and blow it out, that means you are not driving careful enough when you are turning at slower sleep and very likely up driveways. with your setup, going straight or fast turns won't be much of a problem. but if you are making turn, slow to moderate speed, and then hit a bump or a slope, that's the time you can catch on the fender and blow it out
changing from 35 to 30 series tires will help that a lot

Thanks Rominl!! I am very careful going up the slopes and steep grades, its gunning it on the on and off ramps that have turns that gives me the major rubs. That's one of the main reasons I dropped it in the first place. I love better handling!!! I am definetly changing tires.
