I'm looking at getting HID Fogs too. Curious how people respond to your post. I am leaning to Xenondepot Volt Digital 6000K or 5000K.
BTW Were you going to install yourself, or do you know a local installer in Miami?
I know a superb custom electronics shop in Palm Beach who did my countermeasures and my override, but I'd rather not drive up there for a relatively simple job like Fogs. Any tips on Miami installers would be welcome?

Lot of complaints about these guys on the web, and no mention of them doing HID upgrades. I have a belief that companies that care about customer service resolve their complaints rather than letting them stay posted online.
Maybe I'll DIY or drive up to Palm Beach.

Just bought hid fogs last month from HIDextra.com got 5000k which are slightly whiter than the 4300k oem stock low beams on the GS. I really hate that blue HID i always see on the streets, i wanted mine to match the OEM low beams as much as possible thats why i went with 5000k. Im a Huge newb when it comes to working on cars, but i still installed it myself about 3 weeks ago and I love them. Every time i get home at night, i leave the car on for an extra couple of seconds so i can step out and see how great they look. DIY prolly saved me a 1 or 2-hundred bucks for installation.

I would say 75% of the HIDs people are using are some cheapo brand. It's not so much if they are good or not, but how it's installed. If you want to pay $300 for the install and 150 more for the HIDs... lol, LMK. Mine has been going for 2+ yrs with no problems.

installation is easy; no way i would pay to have someone install any of the 3GS lighting. if you take your time, the install will take an hour tops with the fogs taking the most time. i went the cheap route with HIDXTRA 6k fogs and highs with Garax 6k lows. turned out pretty well imo. i have no complaints, especially with the high output LED parking lights i picked up.
