if you want to keep that plastic piece, you can probably shave roughly 3-4mm of fender. if you shave more, you will get on the clips where the plastic piece is screwed on to

They do have them over here in the states too. I saw a stock one down here. Something about that forging I don't like, maybe if it would sort of cave in more rather then poke out and then go back in.
so is that color only available in Japan or did they have it painted aftermarket? I don't like the color....just curious. Also, what series tires are those, 25? 20? they look paper thin.
