i have a 07 gs300 and i want to know if i can update my 2 outside mirrors to the 2008-up with the blinker lights? is it just a matter of getting the mirros and pluging them in or is there more involved? and where can i get these mirrors at a decent price. i know the dealer will tax me out the.....thanks

you need the whole housing and mirrors, and you will need to splice into some wires. not too bad. someone did a diy already, search for it

Eyekutr did a brilliant write up on this ... look in my signature for the link. It isn't plug and play. It's actually a pretty involved mod for a noob like me, but his directions make it straightforward. Several vendors carry high quality LED mirror covers now. I'm very pleased with mine.

it's not going to be cheap. you can talk to sewell lexus about the price, and mention clublexus and you can get another 10%

Yes you can use the OEM mirrors from the newer model. There is a thread I posted in the FAQ section You also have another option to go aftermarket and just replace the outer shell on our current mirrors. I personally like the aftermarket ones better but you have two options to choose from. Check out the FAQ section as it will give you all the info you need on this

thanks for all the info. guys, i still think im gonna get the oem mirrors though, i want to continue to keep the car looking clean. can you reccomend getting the oem mirrors anywhere other than my local lexus dealer. they want $1600 for the pair. is there a online site for oem lexus parts?

the covers still keep the oem look. your not replacing the whole mirror. you just take off the backside of the mirror and replace it with the new led mirror. imo it looks identical and you save a ton of money.
