Yeah, I think everyone is wondering this. Much is speculation and I think all the stuff you've read/heard is just that as well. Nothing seems to be consistent about the rumors either. We just need to be patient!
Most likely it will be released after the 4GS ( in 1 - 2 years ). Then again, it all depends on how the F division is set up. If they have separate engineers working only on F type vehicles, then we could see the GS-F much sooner.
that's too bad, Lexus is a great Mfg but like most they know that these high performance cars do not make the company money sadly....
Guess the m3 and e63 will be king of the hill for now with Lexus out of the game.
rick
rick you mean m5?
but yes, in that segment, it's still pretty much m5 and e63 and nothing else. rs6 isn't coming, and gsf won't be on the radar for at least the next year (likely 2) imho.
but to me, it's probably good idea for lexus to take their time and do it right (if they are going to do it). last they want is rush a gsf and get the name destroyed
I also have nothing concrete and really its just all speculation. I don't mind the 3GS soldiering on, luxury cars are supposed to have longer life cycles.
