Tire Buying Advice For Stock 18" Wheels

Keep us posted how your selection works out.
I'm in almost the very same situation: A 2008 GS350 with the factory Yokohama Advan and a 2008 528 w/sport package/run flats.
The Yokos rode harsh and noisy since new. I've got about 24K with still 50% plus tread left but will change them sooner than latter, just to get rid of the harsh and noisy. They're harsher/noisier that the BMW's Dunlop run flats (and everyone on the BMW forum hates the run flats!).
Having alot of driving experience with both cars, I am conviced of this: There's not much that we can do to the Lexus in way of tires alone to even come close to the BMW's feel and handling dynamics BUT, if you change over to the F-Sport Sway bars, front and rear along with the F Sport springs all around, IT WILL transform the handling (turn in, response, lean control) of the Lexus enough. You will feel the diferrence immediately. Nothing seems to change steering feel, however, since that is more a funtion of hydralics and computer control (steer by wire) and tire selection will have no tactile effect...consider the F Sport bars and springs for the dynamics of handling.

I don't have the Eagle GT's but I do have the Eagle F1 All Season and they are absolutely terrible with road noise. They are unbelievably loud. There are many complaints about this tire attributing it to the carbon fiber sidewalls. The handling and contact is great but road noise is unbearable. I purchased my car used and these are the tires it came with.
