wait, tony, so you put 4-5 layers of z5 and then a layer of z2 all within 24 hours? that's not recommended, i believe it will affect the bonding

Yeah...I got the advice from Zaino to help fill in scatches thy I had, which didn't fill in as much as I'd hoped. I think because the use of ZFX, it's ok to do. Oh well, what's done is done.

i have to be honest and say i am not a huge fan of z5. it helps but it's not very impressive. so i usually do real polishing to take out any imperfections. z2 though is awesome

Correct. If you use ZFX, it's okay to do up to 3 layers within 24 hours.

BTW, Here is mine after the following:


Wash with Dawn
Dry
Clay Bar using distilled water mixed with a little Z7 as lube.
Rewash
Dry
1st coat of ZFX/Z2 Polish
Polish after 30 minutes
Wipe down with Z6
2nd coat of ZFX/Z2 Polish
Polish after 1 hour
Wipe down with Z6
3rd coat of ZFX/Z2 Polish
Polish after 1 hour
Z8 Finishing Spray

Your car is one of my favorites, just if you could bring the rear wheels out about 5mm more it would look perfect.

Yeah, I plan on adding a 10 or 15mm spacer in the back and front. Just want to take care of my fenders first before doing that and I'm just not motivated to do so. Ugh.
