installation is not straight forward. it's considered aftermarket install since it's not fully plug and play and it's not a US spec part. imho might as well find a good outside shop to do it

yeah...I second what Romin said. I had my dealer install the JDM Scuff plates....absolute nightmare. They work fine and look great, but it took them 5 days to do it.

also, $2K for lights is a bit ridiculous. TMFS.

we'll welcome you to the jdm fog club when you get it installed (currently me and RC51TOFUMA).

nope, this kit is not a straight forward install. best bet is to get a car audio shop to hook this up for you, as the wiring can be a pain in the butt (not quite exactly plug and play, but for the most part it is).

true it's pricey. but most people don't have a problem dropping that kind of money on new wheels, suspension mods, body kit?

but you know what they say, you have to pay to play

While I do agree with the cliche' that you gotta pay to play, there comes a point to draw the line. Wheels and body kits, while expensive, offer much more 'bang for the buck', if you will, than JDM Fogs. The average joe wouldn't notice them. Obviously a subjective topic but I'm sure you get the point.

Regardless, they are awesome and I really wish I could afford them! LOL!

i think i said this before, you should get another insurance company that actually insure everything. my insurance covers everything on my car including all aftermarket. and of course, if someone hits me, the other insurance has to cover everything by default

Yes they will cover all OEM parts, there was a lot of fraud where people claimed they had aftermarket parts and didn't. Only way around that is if you get it and call them n send them out a receipt. Which will make the insurance higher. It also matter's where you are located.
