I just changed mine out today in my SC , I bought my car 2 months ago and I connot tell what the previous owner did with the car so for a piece of mind I changed it, I opened the drain plug and it looked like it was dipped in tar and hardly a full quart came out of it . Cleaned it up and replaced it with Royal Purple gear oil. BTW it helps if you have a filler hose to get the Job easier.

It's not a hard job to do and simple tools , saftey 1st use jack stands ,3/8's ratchet,10mm hex head, about bottles of (your choice gear oil) and a container to catch the used oil. There are 2 plugs drain and filler , Come to think of it I changed my oil while parked on a 20% grade so I'm not sure if I went over a tad

I'm about to DIY it. Have picked up couple of bottles of GL-5 75w90 synthetic oil and a few feet of clear vinyl tubing to help filling. I changed manual tranny oil before and they always recommend to loosen the fill plug first, as otherwise one may be risking himself in trouble if he has drained the oil only to find the fill plug seized up or hard to get at with tools available.
