DRL Question
I know there are a ton of threads about members switching out their DRLs and parking lights with whiter bulbs. However, just wanted to know if anyone is using a bulb for their DRL and parking lights that matches the OEM HID headlights. I don't want to use LEDs for the DRL since I want to retain my high beams. Is there a bulb that most members agree matches the OEM HIDs?

Get the MTEC 4700K bulbs Passnu2 uses. I tried both the Philips Crystalvision Ultra and the PIAA intense white, and while better than stock, they are still pretty yellow. That's for the DRL.
For parking light, I would recommend a polarg led 6000K or 4300K to match whatever low beam you have. I use the Putco 360 which is nice but it is pretty blue (looks like 8000K)

There is a thread on options for matching parking lights which I have linked below.

A lot of people have reported the Polarg M4 bulb is the best match. However if you prefer LEDs, some people have reported the Polarg J55 and J60 are also very good matches.
You can get these LED bulbs here:

It is hard to get a perfect match because the lense design seems to make the light seem bluer than it is. This is particularly the case if you use a blue DRL/High Beam bulb.
On the DRLs, the MTEC 4700K in Passnu2's thread doesn't match the low beams, but it is the whitest DRL I have seen. You don't need exact match because DRL and Low beam are never on at the same time. When Low Beams are on, parking lights are on. When DRL is on, nothing else is on. When High Beam is on, light is so bright colour is not noticeable.
However if you use a blue bulb in the DRL, it will make the 4800K parking light look blue, because the blue glass of the DRL bulb will create a blue reflection off the white light from the parking light. This is why my 6000K white Putco LEDs look blue.

I have Putco 360s and they look pretty blue. I was perfectly happy with the OEM 4300k bulbs until I put those in and now I'm considering buying Garax 6000ks to get a closer match.
The only thing stopping me really is the fact that there have been countless threads from people with aftermarket bulbs on here saying they start getting the one side turning off side effects after replacing bulbs which I have never once encountered with the philips xeneco bulbs.

Jay do you have blue drl bulbs? I am wondering whether the blue effect on the putcos is caused by the lense, or by the colocation with the light blue tinted drl bulbs I have.

No I have factory DRL/Highbeams. I really don't care if the DRLs are yellow, during the daytime you can hardly notice light colours anyway.

Actually I think they make 4800K not 4300K. 4800K is also the same temperature as a worn-in OEM 4300K HID. The stock tend to increase in temperature as they age.

I just had my DRL's turned off... I don't car to even have DRL's running. Its an option to turn off the DRL's with the scanner at the dealer, but the just don't advertise that. I think the cars look much better with not lights on at all during the day.
