A couple questions regarding 2010 GS350
Does the 2010 GS350's side mirrors fold in automatically when the car is in 'park' - unlike my 2007 which requires a push of a button (or can the 2010 GS be programmed so the mirrors fold in when in park)?
XM Traffic - does it really work?
Also, anyone know where I can find the changes (hopefully improvements) made by Lexus to each model year (2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010)? I'm not referring to interior/exterior cosmetics (i.e. grill change or directionals in side mirror housing) but more from an engineering perspective. For example, Lexus modified the installation of the windshield for the 2008 MY due to the rattles that popped up for MY2007. Another example is the engine mounts changed from 2008 to 2009.
Thanks.

I have an 2010 GS350 and the side mirrors do not fold automatically. You have to press a button to do it.
I haven't listened to XM Traffic but I have sattelite.. I jsut listen to music on it.. which I enjoy

Hmm...Lexus website says:Power-adjustable, auto-folding outside mirrors with turn indicators, defoggers, puddle lamps and auto tilt-down in reverse (about 1/2 way down the page at http://www.lexus.com/models/GS/features/pricing.html). Either this is incorrect or possibly it can be programmed when the car goes into park (or locked with the key fob).

Wish the mirrors folded automatically like my friends Mercedes when he parks it.
The XM Nav traffic is useful if you live in the metro area where they offer it. First, the audio in the 200's is part of the music package. The traffic is $3 extra per month. Where I am in S. Florida, its useful because it shows the major roads and puts up little signs on the Nav screen for major slowdowns, roadwork and accidents. Its been about 80% accurate. Old stuff may be on the map too long and new stuff may have happened too soon to update.
If you are using the Nav for guidance, it even warns you of problems on your destination route.
Also, you can use the voice guidance to say something like "Traffic I-95" and it will give you info, if there are problems. But I did find a bug. It won't give traffic on the Florida Turnpike when you ask, but its on the map so the data is there. It doesnt understand the words. Local dealer acknowledged this.
The XM Weather is a waste. Its not real time radar. Its forecasts and NWS alerts. Wouldn't pay anything for it. If I lived in a Tornado area, that might be the only value.
