New GS member
Hi all,
I'm a new member as I just purchased a new 06 GS 300 Rwd. It has every option possible... I think. Anyway, I'd like to say hi and hope to get some feedback on the GS. I owned an ES that I recently sold with 250,000 miles on it and it was still going great so I know Lexuses are reliable, but are the newer models as reliable as older ones? Especially with all the gagets they added to the Gs? I bought mine at 50,000 so it doesn't have any warranty. Should I even worry about getting one? What are the most common problems on the GS? Sorry about the long post.

Welcome to Clublexus. I also have an ES with 245k miles and IMO the new ones are equally as reliable on a ratio basis. So in other words more things might go wrong but they usually are still minor and it b/c it has more to offer. My 92 ES is like a Model T in regards to tech in regards to the GS!

welcome, and congrats on the purchase. i also bought a preowned 06 300 and my water pump was leaking @ 54,000 miles but it was still under the powertrain warranty (6yrs./70,000 miles) and was replaced for free. But i wouldnt have known right away if i hadnt brought it to the Lexus dealership for my 1st oil change. otherwise, great car...so far
