I should stop by for you. I am literally up the street from them right now! Map shows 2.7 miles! I'm trying to post a pic but can from my iPhone

I was really digging this tire but last week it happened...the 5K blues. Before 5K miles I thought these were the most quiet and comfy performance tires I've ever owned. Now that I've done 5K miles, it has gotten louder and less comfy.
Since the op is doing stock sizes, he'll get more than 5K of blissful driving but it'll happen.

This means the only tire I've ever owned that stayed quiet the whole time was the Bridgestone 960AS. I enjoyed over 20K miles of driving pleasure. If only they made them in 245-30-20.....

Thanks Dave! Didn't occur to me to look there. Now all I need to do is find a good installer in Orange County, CA area (preferably Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley). Anyone from here know a good one to do the install?

i always order tires from them. they usually have the lowest prices i find and their shipping is pretty quick. i usually get my tires within 2 days of ordering them.

For the cost you can't go wrong I hate Bridgestone tires. They are the worst tires I ever had and were so loud. Personally Michelin has the best tires on the street. I was going to get the A/S Pilots but coudn't pass this deal up. Mine are getting mounted on the rims today so hopefully I will be able to finish my car the end of this week *cough* Rotora *cough*

The Bridgestone 960AS is not loud. It is a performance all-season that is both comfy and quiet. That's a fact. I can't speak for the other Bridgestone models which you may have experienced.

We've been extremely pleased at the consistency of the handling, ride and quietness of the Bridgestone 960AS's on our SL500. Had them on that vehicle for about 2 years, and 12K miles.

You'll find crappy tires from every brand. I know the stock Bridgestone ER33 that belongs on the 2IS are pretty bad, but the 960AS are on a whole different level. Likewise Michelin has the PS2 that rocks, but they also have tires that are less than stellar.

My wheels are all installed. Awesome, the DWS grip beautifully when dry but not perfect when wet. It was a bit slippery.
