So I've been searcing through the threads trying to figure out (i) which headlight to get (ii) and where to get it - so that it matches my right OEM headlight.

I've searched and determined that I will purchase from this place:

But I have two questions:

1. What color am I supposed to get (amber, white, etc blue). in other words, what is the OEM color?

2. Is there anywhere I can get just one?

3. Can someone just confirm I am getting the right bulb?

1) factory is 4100-4300

2) you don't want to just do one. always do a pair, otherwise color will be different

3) d4s is what you want

have you tried to search for oem philips bulbs? if they aren't too much more expensive it might be worth it for the quality

Would you be able to see with 10K temp bulb? I would think it'd be way too blue.

well i am sure you will be able to see, but question is how much. and anything higher than 4300k and it's getting dimmer already. 6000k is the max i would ever go. i have seen 8000k, it's a joke

I used to have a SC400 and did a HID retrofit. Anyways, long story short, the ebay bulbs are PURE CRAP.

I had to spend extra dough on genuine philips bulbs (also ebay) and the difference was NIGHT AND DAY. Buy Philips bulbs!
