buttons on rearview mirror....help!
we own a 2010 lexus gs 350 awd, i dont drive the lexus as much as i do my it my wifes and i drive a 2010 tundra, but i was driving her car last night and i pulled up to the driveway and wanted to push the homelink button to open the door but i had a hard time finding the buttons they are not lite up. but in my tundra they are clearly lite up so u know what button ur hitting. i examined the buttons and they both are clearly the from design, shape and layout. is there a way i can turn it on? do ur light up?

Try saying "open sesame", that may work better
No lights here either. I programed the garage door to the left most homelink button, so I simply run my thumb along the bottom of the rear view mirror and feel it, when I'm not saying open sesame.

The other day, when my wife was driving, I noticed that the lighting inside the car was far brighter. I think we saved her memory position with different light settings.
I never went back to play with the lighting controls to see if there were settings I could adjust better that I hadn't done so yet in my memory position. But this just reminded me I should go and check.
I don't think this fixes the problem of the OP but maybe to those others who think the lights are too dim, there may be some more adjustment that could be done. I remember setting my lighting based on how I wanted the instrument cluster to look, rather than the interior lighting.
