Default lexus loyalty

So my sales rep called me and told me the deal that will be going on for previous lexus owners. The Golden Opportunity event. He said I can get $3k off MSRP and possibly another $1K from Lexus financial services. So I was wondering, will there be any major changes from 2010 to the 2011 GS350AWD?

When i shopped the "December to Remember" event in Dec 2009.... I couldn't event get $3K off MSRP.

It was a 2009 GS350 Starfire Pearl AWD/ Nav (no ML)...i didn't but it.

i can't say if it has to do with region or demand / supply. when i got my 08 gs350, the car just came out for less than a month, and my price was already based on invoice price, which was more than 6k off msrp

given the 3gs is a relatively slow seller now, i would expect at least the same kind of deals

When you guys say $6k or $9k off MSRP is that out the door or plus more with tax?

not otd. talking about otd price is sort of pointless considering that different states can be pretty different on tax. but the price of the, although can still fluctuate, but it's more consistent

i don't understand what you mean? Lets use fictional numbers here. Say the car MSRP is $58,000. If you get $4K off msrp. Does this mean you paid $54,000 total?

54k + ttl

in ca we pay like 10% on tax alone. in texas they don't pay any tax. so talking about otd price can be pretty big difference

Not much of a deal in my opinion. I would sit on my hands until 2 years past any new major changes. I don't understand people who rush out and buy the very 1st year makes of new models (for more than MSRP sometimes), only to find out (surprise!) new generation has bugs to work out.

Typical Lexus dealers......actually I should say typical car dealers. If you even do get a good deal its only because they absolutely have to move inventory. I hate car sales people.

$4k off is not a deal. You can get that any time of year, even when the 2011s come out.
