Valve Spring Repair
Hey guys, I just got a phone call from my dealer in Glendale, CA for the valve spring repair. My service adviser told me that they just received the parts for the repair. I am taking in my 07 GS later on today. Hopefully it comes back with no other problems. I will keep you posted!

Have not receive the official recall letter from Lexus.
However, I got the valve springs recall done about two weeks ago. It was a pre-authorized work by Lexus when I had the engine noise repaired at the same time. So far my car is running just fine.

Hello all!
Just bought my '08 GS350 3 weeks ago from a non-Lexus dealership here in Utah. When I took it in for an oil change at a Lexus dealership, they told me about this valve spring recall. My ride went under the knife today and should be done in the morning!

Not a very nice way to start your ownership experience, but good to get it out of the way up front and at least it doesn't cost you anything. Post some pictures when you have a chance!

I haven't received anything in the mail, but I spoke to my dealership and they just got the parts in. They said I don't need to wait for paperwork and that I could schedule the work at my convenience.

Mail is often slow. If you log in to Lexus Drivers with your VIN you should see the recall notice for your car. the website drivers.lexus.com
