^^The leap time is a consequence of a dealership that doesn't have to compete with any other dealers except for out of town dealers. When you're the only game in town, you get to make the rules.I think they probably only have a couple techs actually doing this work so they just continue to book them out further. In a competitive environment, you would necessarily have to train more techs very quickly in order to avoid having the business go elsewhere.

I finally took my 07 GS350 AWD in yesterday for this. While this work is getting done, I'm having my spark plugs replaced also. So for those of you that need your plugs replaced with your 60k service, this is a great time because you should be able to save on that labor. Plugs should be around $150. I was previously quoted $900 for that service. Hope this helps someone.

Took my car in today for the recall and other work. The Service Advisor told me that they might have my car for 2 weeks getting the recall done. He said they have a few other cars in the lot waiting to have the recall done and only have 3 mechanics that Lexus allows to perform the recall.
Got an ES350 loaner. Would prefer something with AWD since the weather is getting bad, but I guess this will do.

Got mine done, dropped Tuesday 12/14 picked up today.
They washed the car inside and outside, filled the tank also they did TSB L-SB-0157-08 engine knock at cold start.
So far so good, I noticed RPM at idle now 600 it used to be higher before.

I've never received a discount coupon nor a gift card. Well, I've never received a letter for a recall either but I still took my car in for a recall in late October.
I'm thinking that they might have sent those to the previous owner or they simply don't have my address in the system since I bought my car not to long ago (January as CPO). Is there a number to call and ask what the situation is? Thanks.
