Here are a few pics of my bike before and after my wreck. I made out better than the bike, however I spent 5 days in shock trauma at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD I suffered and severely broken ankle reconstructed with 6 pins, bruised lungs, shoulder,and upper back, road rash on most of my right arm and leg, and a small laceration on my kidney. I was wearing a riding jacket however it was a mesh one not leather. It held up well considering the 100mph+ crash. I also suffered a concussion and don t remember the crash or the ride to the hospital which if you ask me is great cause i don t remember being in pain. I apparently collided with another bike and went over the handle bars while the bike flipped as high as 15 ft in the air down the road! the bike never went off road all this damage was caused from flipping down the road. I feel luck to be able to get out and about i can drive and go to the mall and pretty much anything you can do with a cast and crutches hopefully by august i ll have a different cast and be able to swim and go to the beach!

OMG... glad to see u make it through bro.. may be i'm abit chicken ***** but never feel safe when riding on something w/2 wheels...

 

i am really really sorry to see what happened but most important thing is you are ok. health is always the most important!

 

The other rider managed to stay up however i hit him so hard it stood his tail section straight up in the air pointing his tail light to the sky. I took his left shoe off and he sustained a minor back injury.

Almost sounds like my story... I got taken out by drunk driver... 3 pins right shoulder, collapse lung, broke left arm humerus, road rash on both knees, 8 pins and a rod on right ankle... Worst part, person that hit me don't have jack shiet. $285K in medical bills. Stayed about 1 month at the hospital and another 3-4months bed rested at home with a wheel chair coz I couldn't walk.. Yup, glad to be alive myself.

 

Dude, how fast were you going before you rammed other biker and flipped!!!
