afaik, jdm 3GS don't have turbo.

I think it's cool to see a 3GS on a track. On the outside it looks not different than any of our modded GS. On the inside it's all business.
Too bad it broke down but the owner should have beefed up the driveshaft if he was going to abuse the car.

that would nice to try but I think the GS is too bug for a drift car maybe the IS with all that that would be really nice

That's a Vertex Digna kit. I really wanted to get this kit, but got an engagement ring instead lol. So, maybe some other time

It's running a standalone. At those power levels, and especially on a race car, the stock ecu is too unpredictable at high power levels. Also, notice the aftermarket intake manifold, the stock ECU can't run with that on the VVTi 2JZ engine.

I was thinking about swapping a 2JZ 6spd into a 3GS. Or maybe just boost the hell out of a 3GS430 lol. Time for me to be getting a newer car

I wish they could make a Lexus really quick without the 2JZ. Its just the perfect engine. The motor is so stout that tuners continue to utilize this motor and tranny because of its bulletproof performance and hardcore tuneability
