I would say about 900 for the bumper plus the cost of paint and labor. Just an estimate.
BTW why were you driving the car drunk. Especially with the narrow Hawaiian roads. Be careful

So here is what happened to me on post-call after a night shift at the hospital as a medical resident on Friday morning. I am a bit upset. I backed into a White GMC Yukon XL version. That car had no visible damage due to its cheap white plastic bumper. My Lexus on the other hand has a small indentation in the bumper that is so noticeable right now and it is going to cost a bit of money to get it fixed up..... I was about to put it on www.autotrader.com next month since I am getting the new 2011 BMW 535xi sedan.
This is the first time I hit my car in 6 years.

I was rear-ended by a GMC pickup, resulting in a hole in my bumper. Inspection revealed no damage to the underlying structure, only the bumper cover. Just getting the cover replaced with the resulting costs of parts, paint, labor, etc. amounded to $844 and change. The original insurance estimate was $598 and change. The person who hit me originally said he wanted to pay for it out of pocket but quickly changed his mind when he realized the cost. This amount did not include what his insurance also had to pay for a rental car while mine was being repaired. It was out of service for four days.

If it were me, I would buy a new OEM bumper ($330 at lexuspartsnow.com), have it painted locally (approx. $200) and replace it yourself.

People like you should be put in jail!!!
You may not be so lucky next time around, someone else could get hurt!!!
As a reminder, I would make a donation (at least equal amount of fine for DUI) to one of DUI foundation.
So you will think twice before you decide to everyone else in danger again!!!
(The reason I was being so mean is b/c I was the victim of drunk driver, it cost permanent damage to my spine!!!)
