Default TRAC/VSC momentary switch

I'm thinking about changing out the momentary switch that controls TRAC and VSC and installing two standard on-off rocker switches to replace it. Reason being that I would like to be able to turn those controls off and not have them reset on me after turning off the ignition. I find that I usually forget to turn them off until after I'm driving, when it's too late.

I appreciate having those systems under certain driving conditions, but 90% of the time I find them unnecessary and even overbearing or even dangerous under certain circumstances.

Does anyone know if other luxury/performance manufacturers use momentary or standard switches for traction and skid control? I'll probably do it anyway, but I'd feel a little more comfortable knowing that this is one of those things the engineers conceded to make the Lexus legal department happy.
