Sorry man, it is pretty bad. Mine was not as bad as yours but it took me about 6 visits to several local dealers in Los Angeles to fix the problem. My rattle sounded just like yours. Last time, my dealer fixed it but turned out the noise was coming from the engine bay area. To me, the rattle was coming exactly from the dashboard area but the tech caught the noise from some place else and now it is gone. I was shocked to know that. So next time when you bring in, you may want to leave the car overnight so that they could test drive for several times to pin point where the noise is coming from. Good luck Bro.

Let me ask you a question. Have you ever taken your car to another Lexus Dealership to get this problem worked on? - If not, why not??

My rattle was from the right side fender area. The dealer took out the fender cover and fixed the broken piece. Here is what my invoice says "R/R FANDER /FENDER LINER AND HEADLIGHT TO ACCESS, THE USED CENTER PUNCH TO REPIR"
Initially, I was very surprised that the noise was not from the dash board. They replaced the dash clips twice and the rattle was still there. I went back to the dealer and left my GS for a few additional days. They finally located the rattle and fixed it. The rattle sounded like yours. I actually have a video,too. I am not sure how to post it in here though. If you give me your email address, I would be more than happy to send it to you.

Ill help u drive it through the window of bay ridge lexus, but dam thats horrible i would either call up lexus of america or not even take the car bak because of this issue they cant fix. Or even better i would slap that fat *** partell cause he cant manage shiet.

right fender.... meaning somewhere inside the wheel well? lining the wheel well?

that sounds horrible..sorry to hear bro..i got a problem with my gs300..when i come to a stop..the car started to shake like its gonna shut down..engine shook for a sec and it stopped...any help or suggestion..greatly appreciate

One is replacing the valve springs, the other is a top engine cleaning. In the US both are related and are prescribed to be applied together.
Of course, you can also see my thread about what happened when my car went in for this same thing (but just valve springs) and then decide how brave you are.
