Thinking about getting GS, how do y'all like it

Another one of those things I don't understand.
Why buy a car that requires premium if you don't want to pay the price of premium?
There are so many cars out there that use mid or regular fuel. I just don't get it.
If I lost my job (and I did 2 years ago), I would just cut back on non-essential trips rather than put cheaper gas in the car.
I don't get it.

Its a Lexus. Not a Porsche. Midgrade is fine, I don't need another car to track so I don't need Premium in it. If I wanted to put Premium in a Lexus it would be the IS-F, if it was worth me buying it.

I see your point.
If I can get by without running premium why not save the extra coin? I have other things to pay for that are a bit more important such as school bills, but after that I have no problem putting Premium in the car. As far as tranny fluid, spark plugs and oil, as long as it meets OEM standards, I don't care what goes in my daily driver, which is what the GS will be.
