Hello, I have a 06 gs w/ navi and ml package. Yesterday i was trying to install an ipod kit. I managed to take everything apart and plug it in and got it working. However, after testing to make sure it works, I ran the wire neatly, and then tested it one last time before i put the deck back in. This time it wouldn't work. Every time i hit the AM/SAT button, the sound would turn off for about 3 seconds and then continue to play FM or CD (which ever selection i had before pressing the button). Any ideas on what might be wrong??
Also, does anybody have a picture of the rear? I noticed, before i gave up and put the deck back in that the plug on the bottom left hand corner of the whole deck (looking for the back) had nothing plugged in. It was a purple port.
Thank you!

which kit you have. you mentioned AM/SAT button, so you have the toyota kit? have you checked all the wires and connection? it sounds like something might be loose, so it doesn't detect anything and jump back to the other sources. i have installed the factory ipod kit on the 3gs before, didn't have your problem, it played just fine
