I would have suggested selling them too except I know you're going to take a beating and I didn't want to be the one who said it first. Used and with an issue, you're gonna get something between 2 or 3K...if you're lucky.

Me, I would be at the dealer where I purchased them, every chance I get, with a large sign telling prospective customers these jokers don't stand behing the product they sell. I have done this a couple times with great results.

The wheels were taken off today, the shop I bought them from does huge amount of Asanti sales on the northern east coast and apparently my have more clout than the simple consumer so they are going to attempt to send them back and have them redone. We shall see and I will keep everyone posted. Here is what she looks like with the factory wheels, the only time they were on was from the dealership to my house . I kinda like it

sorry to hear about your problems. for $8K, you could of had a nice set of BBS LM. or 2-3 sets of Work wheels. if you are going to go with painted wheels, you might as well go with Work...the paint is anodized.

I agree. Freshly painted you should be able to get a decent price...enough to buy something else.

You need to get this in writing from the shop if you feel you might need to go to court. Start writing down a log of this ordeal.

For that kind of money they should be forged magnesium and say BBS on them. The paint might still peel but at least they would be lighter than isht.

UPDATE my wheels are getting repainted however I am responsible for labor time and freight so its going to cost about $500.00

Thats complete BS why do you have to oay ot have them fix a problem with there ****y as work. I would tell them no fix them or i'm going public to the press. the only reason asanti are so much is because people pay their over price on wheels. You could have a local guy do the same or even have them powder coated for cheaper. I say tell to fix them or just keep them and sue thier ***. If that the kind of backing they for a set of $8k then we should support you on here and boycott Asanti on this site and plus get the word out.
