I bought mine new from Jerad Romo, but he told me that also covers CPO's as well. I highly recommend him, and Sewell. I drove all the way up to Dallas from Houston because the deal was that good.

Thanks for the info. I am also driving to Dallas from Oklahoma bc they have great deals but want a greater deal than they are offering cuz I know they get these cars in auction and have at least $5K markup

I had bad experience with them, Sewell Lexus of Ft.Worth. I made an offer on a 2006 Lexus GS300 with 45k miles for $23,000, asking price was $25000. After many phone calls, they agreed with the price; however, later, they changed their mind and said another doctor is testing my car and he might buy it. They could not honor my offer because they have a potential local buyer. I was ready to make 5 hours trip from AR to Ft.Worth to pick the car up. Anyway, later of that day, they called me again and said that doctor doesn't want the car and I can have it. So I basically told them to f*** off since I'm not begging or desparating if someone treat me like that. There are many GS300 around and I picked one up from Lexus of Tulsa the same weekend.

WOW thats a great deal! Did it have Navi by any chance? I am looking around for a CPO w/ navi for under $25K. Staying away from silver. we already have two (ES & GS).

i found mine on craigslist. it was at a mazda dealership. i searched the net high and low and first time scanning craigslist for a GS i found one. they were asking $25K, $28.5 drive out. I ended up getting it for $21, $23 otd for a 2006 300. Bought my 100,000 mile b2b warranty through my credit union.

It was a 2006 GS 300 with no Nav, non-certified car. I got mad at them because they agreed to sell it to me and they took it off their inventory after they got all information from me. My credit union agent spent an hour talking and faxing them all the documents they requested so I only need to drive down there and pick it up. I thought we had a done deal then two hours later they called me back and told me that. They did not ask for a deposit even if they did, they would still flip over for another buyer. I know dealer is not your friend but they often do that to sell you another car.

Sewell only lists CPO cars and the prices are $3k - $5k higher then places without CPO, and they will not negotiate, I have a friend that works at a local leasing company and they don't stock cars so they deal with all the local dealers to get inventory for their clients.
needless to say I purchased mine from carmax for $7k less then the CPO models, mine doesn't have CPO so if you remove that from the equation it's still ridiculously cheaper.
just my .02...if you DO want CPO then go to the Lexus dealer, if not, search web.

I drove down from Oklahoma and the salesman I dealt with was Jimmy Tseng. He was very nice and helpful. He did most of the work over the phone so we didn't have to spend much time at the dealership. We drove down on Saturday morning, spent about an hour at the dealership, then headed home. For the money we saved it was well worth the drive. Eskridge is the only Lexus dealership in the Oklahoma City area and they act like it.

Coffee87, I agree with you about Eskridge. POS in my IMHO. Sewell will not budge on their prices at all, only depends on the salesperson I get
