well im posting for my cousin, he drives a 06 gs300 currently lowered with Tein s-tech springs and Vossens 083's. he wants to change up a lil so i suggested going 21"s either Cor wheels or Zone wheels, the cost really is not an issue to him but i just want to know what exactly will be needed, will the current suspension work or will he need to change to coilovers, we will also be installing a Rotora bbk in the next few weeks. thanks

Okay, I'll bite.
Most of us don't believe anything larger than 20's are appropriate for the GS.
Fitting them usually means fender modifications that could cause issues.
ANyway, it can be done if one is willing to make those changes. I won't explain them cause I don't want to suggest something I am not in favor of.
It looks hot but not worth it in my opinion.

Try talking to MC3 Wheels:

They've done a few 3GS and we're going to build my set of 21s but I wanted to run something different.

falken 452's are cheap for a reason. those tires bubble so easily that i wouldnt even consider them
as far as fitting them, it wont be a problem at all. dont let people push you away. coming from somone who had 22s on the 3GS, it doesnt really take too much work to get them to fit. I had to do a few small things but nothing major. just make sure you get the correct width and offsets.

Not a fan of 21's or 22's on the 3GS. I just think those sizes look out of proportion to the car itself. That size wheel looks in proportion on an LS460, which is a bigger car. Dialing in the right diameter tire for a 21 or 22 along with the proper size/offset/aspect ratio in order for the wheels/tires to fit are the challenge. Most tire companies make a very limited number of choices for 21's....it's a very odd tire diameter. Just my $.02 ......

So far there's only one car that looks good, IMO, with anything larger than a 20" wheel and that's Redwhiskey's black 3GS.

I agree with IXI187IXI regarding the Falken's. They are complete POS tires. Bubble easily and are super noisy. I'd never buy a set of these ever again. You get what you pay for.

one reason i took mine off was because it was way over spec'd for the awd system and i didnt want to ruin the awd system.
the main reason i took them off is because after a while i began to agree that they looked too big for the car which is why i went to 20s.
i still think this is the best looking 3GS on 22s (sorry its a still shot from a youtube video)
