Traction/VSC off
So I'm making a 90 degree right turn after a complete stop in my '07 GS350. I depress the pedal, and the car hesitates. I know this system is overly intuitive, but this situation can be downright dangerous. So my question is, how many of you drive with the system off, in order to avoid situations like this? Also, by defeating the engineering and expense that went into including these systems with our cars, am I creating the potential for less safety by not using them? Any input is appreciated.

I don't and I don't have this issue either. One thing I found is that the VSC engages far less often once you upgrade to better tires and get a professional performance alignment. My VSC only engages in the rain.

What they said. ^^
I used to complain about TRAC/VSC too until I got new tires a few weeks ago. Now I really have to make an effort to get those systems to kick in.
It's hard to overstate the performance and handling improvement a great set of tires give you.

As the OP, I'd like to thank all of you for your responses. Although my tires have ample tread left, they are the 245-40-18 Yoko Advan 10's and, after doing a Club Lexus search, have found that no one has anything good to say about them. So it appears that it is time for me to do some tire shopping.
