All,
I have never posted. I've only read. I was looking for an ipod integration kit that would work on a factory 2006 lexus gs300 non nav stereo. I was really interested in Pac-audio since I have read that the isimple does not work well with lexus.
I went ahead and got pac-audio installed into my car and it works pretty well. Again I don't have navi in my car. the part number is upac-toy1. Here is a link to the official site:

It does show the text of the artist and song name but when the song title is long, it cuts off. You can navigate through the stereo but it is a little difficult. I thought it was convenient that it has three options. There is IPOD (controls ipod through stereo only), Aux 1 (controls ipod through ipod except you can use factory stereo controls for changing songs), and Aux 2(you pull out the ipod cable and plug in a standard 3.5 mm jack into the headphone slot and works like a regular auxiliary). I thought the various options can be very useful.
Anyway just thought I'd share that for the people who want to keep factory stereos, the pac-audio works for 2006 lexus gs300.
